  • First year green: 4th – Olivier owned by Kat Taylor

Highlights from the NorCal Medal Finals show:

  • Grace Lukach won the 2004 NorCal Pony Medal Finals on “Thanks Dad” after winning both round one and two and the work off on the flat.
  • Grace Lukach was Pony Equitation Champion and third in the Pony Hunter Classic on Bittersweet Justa Little Twist.
  • Gen Labadie was Champion in the Junior Hunters 16-17 on Miracle and won the $1500 Jr/AO Hunter Classic.

Pebble Beach Equestrian Classic I, Pebble Beach, CA – July 27-August 1

  • Olivier & Carole Wright the Grand Circuit Championship in the First Year Green Hunters
  • Gen LaBadie & Miracle Reserve Championship in the Small Junior Hunters
  • Grace Rankin was awarded the Reserve Championship in the Children’s Hunters 15-17

Week III at Woodside

  • Olivier, owned by Kat Taylor and ridden by Carol Wright was First Year Green Champion.
  • Rollingwoods L on Wheels, owned and ridden by Grace Lukach was Circuit Champion Pony Hunter and Pony Equitation.

Week I Woodside – June 23-27

  • Grace Lukach & her medium pony Rollingwood’s L on Wheels, sweept the pony equitation division with a win in all three classes. They also took home championship honors in the pony hunter division.
  • Iris Keenan rode Charmer to numerous ribbons in the 3-ft. equitation medals and won the CPHA horsemanship class with a fabulous round on Sunday afternoon.
  • Marissa Huang, WCE Medal.

Golden State Horse Show – May 28-31

  • Olivier- Champion First Year Green, Third in Hunter Classic with Kat Taylor
  • Rollingwoods L on Wheels-Champion Pony Hunter
  • Marissa Huang- NorCal Junior Medal Winner on Nadato
  • Evi Steyer- NorCal Pony Medal Winner on Belgian Treat

Showpark Ranch and Coast – May 11-16

  • Miracle and Gen LaBadie won a class in the Junior Hunters with an 84.
  • Olivier got top ribbons in another very competitive section of First Year Green Hunters.

Del Mar National Horse Show – May 4-9

  • Jenna Huang won the USEF Pony Medal out of 17 top pony riders.
  • Olivier scored an 87 in the very competitive First Year Green Division
  • Miracle tied for Reserve Champion in the Second Year Green Division’
  • Kat Taylor and Gen LaBadie both made the top 10 in their Classics.

Pickwick Equestrian – April 14th-18th

  • Champion Small Pony – Allie Tishgart and Quicksilver’s Sassy Sienna
  • Champion Children’s Pony Hunter – Grace Lukach and Rollingwood “L” on Wheels
  • Champion Medium Pony Hunters – Grace Lukach and Rollingwood “L” on Wheels
  • Reserve Champion Low Children’s – Emily Jovais and Elliott James
  • Reserve Champion AA Hunters – Kat Taylor and Olivier
  • Reserve Champion Jr Hunters – Gen LaBadie and Miracle
  • Champion First Year Green – Katarina Coleman and Olivier

Indio I, II, & III 2004 Highlights

  • Evi Steyer was champion weeks I and II in the short stirrup hunters with Belgian Treat aka “Waffle.”  Evi ended up tied for Mid-Circuit Champion at Indio in the short stirrup hunters.
  • Rourke LaBadie and Love n Appiness aka “Bubba” was champion week I in the section B short stirrup hunters.
  • Blaire Kingsley and Johnny Jump Up aka “Johnny” were top ribbon winners in the short stirrup hunters and equitation divisions.
  • Gen LaBadie jogged in the very competitive Small Jr Hunter 15-17 division at Indio. This was her first time at Indio in the 3’6”.
  • Marissa Huang competed in the big equitation divisions at Indio for her first time ever at Indio. Good job Marissa!
  • Jamie Marsh was a ribbon winner in every class on Tommy, good luck to Jamie on her new horse “Bear”.
  • Kat Taylor, on her brand new young horse Olivier competed in the Adult Amateur hunters.
  • Congratulations also to Olivier and Heidi Austin-Fish for winning a class of First year green Hunters at Indio!
  • Logan Zimmerman and “Pal” jogged in the Large pony division.
  • Jenna Huang and “Justin” jogged in every Large Pony Hunter class.
